About the Captain: Tony DeFilippo

Born and raised in Glen Lake, Michigan. Home of the sand dunes and Sleeping
Bear National Park.
 
Tony is blessed to have a beautiful wife Missy and three wonderful kids Fisher, Tessa, and Josie. He can frequently be found with a personable chocolate lab who has a knack for finding fish.

Tony began fishing Glen Lake at a very young age and was blessed to have fished with his dad,and a great tournament fisherman named Rick who frequently summered at the lake.

In the 90's he began fishing local club tournaments where his success, including being one of a handful of anglers to win Michigan's Bass Angler of the year and Classic Champion, led him to state wide then nation wide tournaments. Ultimately qualifying for the prestigious FLW Tour through the Everstart Ranks. Tony was on the 10 member team of the first ever $100,000 Fantasy Fishing winner helping with a top finish on Lake Toho, Fla.  When Tony fished the FLW tour he was consistently in the top third, had many top 10 and 20 finishes and was ranked as one of the top Pros in the world by Bassfan.com.
